If you are traveling to an international destination, you will need to provide proof you your identity and citizenship when you check in for your flight. In all cases, you will need to present approved identification (generally a valid Passport) when you arrive in and depart from the country you are visiting.
Depending on your citizenship, the countries you are visiting, and your mode of transportation, the requirements for Passports and Visas can vary. You can obtain a passport and visa from YOUR country's embassy. Note: Children under the age of 18 are required to have a Passport when traveling on international flights.
If you do not have a passport already, be sure to allow enough time for your application to be processed.
Passport - An official document which provides the identity and nationality of the person for whom it is issued.NOTE: Most countries require that the passport being presented have at least 6 months validity remaining at the time of arrival in their country. To ensure you are not denied boarding on your date of departure, please review the expiration date on your passport to ensure this requirement is met.
Visa - Is an endorsement stamped on your passport by foreign customs officials that will allow you to visit that specific country.
Transit Visa: If your itinerary includes a connecting flight in a country that is not your final destination, you may also need a transit visa regardless if you plan to exit the airport or not. While this requirement is not common, it is your responsibility to make sure you verify any transit visa requirements prior to departure.
